Sustainability, training, sharing of ideas and digital transformation as the main resources to contribute to the development of our territory: this is the common thread that unites Free Mind Foundry and TEDxCatania, a non-profit organization which aims to spread Ideas of Value, according to the consolidated Californian philosophy of TEDx. And it is precisely the sharing of vision and mission that constituted the premise of the partnership with TEDxCatania.
TED is a global community with the aim of giving voice to the most innovative minds and ideas on the planet, in order to share a culture of renewal and inspire positive change.
TEDxCatania was born from the experience and success of the events organized at the Catania High School since 2014. Today, TEDxCatania is a large organization with over 50 highly involved volunteers who make each edition an unforgettable moment, collaborating tirelessly in the organization, contributing with passion to the creation of an event that leaves its mark on the territory.
Participating as Main Partner in the 2021 edition of TEDxCatania represents a way for Free Mind Foundry to enhance our land, which allows the local community and all its actors to tell their stories and listen to each other, celebrating innovation and encouraging the diffusion of noteworthy ideas.
Free Mind Foundry was born in 2017 with the aim of bringing together digital companies and young talents within a single globally connected Hub. In just three years, Free Mind Foundry has managed to host more than twelve digital companies, doubling the Campus spaces and becoming the first International Cooperation Center for technological research and higher education in the Mediterranean. We have realised, in fact, that to create innovation it is necessary first of all to train resources, providing them with know-how and skills, and then to employ new professional figures.
Free Mind Foundry proposes itself, in fact, as a focal point of territorial and international connections, made not only of cables but first of all of people, the center from which they branch off and into which digital bridges capable of connecting companies, students, professionals and institutions in and from any part of the world converge.
Like TEDxCatania, we also believe in the power of ideas and enabling higher education, to implement a virtuous circle that contributes to the development of our land.
Being a partner of TEDxCatania means being supporters of good ideas, of those ideas that create small, large revolutions.
